Term 5

Spider class have loved learning about minibeasts this term.

We have been looking after caterpillars and tadpoles. We have been watching them closely and discussing the changes.

 

We have been having lots of fun with Numeracy.

We are gaining confidence with our numbers to 20 and have enjoyed representing numbers in different ways.

We have also been learning about doubling and halving.

Term 4

This term we have started PE in the hall which has been VERY exciting! We have been brilliant getting ourselves dressed in our PE kit and learning the rules and routines of being in the hall. We have explored moving in different ways and working with our partners to learn new skills. We have also started gymnastics, developing our coordination and balance!

Term 3

Spiders have been very busy this term with some of us working from home, some from school and some doing a bit of both! We have been exploring the theme of Superheroes and finding out about what superheroes need to stay healthy! We have explored how exercise is important for our bodies and what types of food are healthy for us. We have been busy writing and exploring shapes and numbers and also getting creative. What busy spiders we are!

Term 2

We have had a wonderful term!

We have started learning many new sounds in phonics and are using them to read and robot talk words.

We have also been learning about numbers and representing them in different ways as well as making numbers up to five.

We have enjoyed exploring the story ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’.

Term 1

We have been super spiders and have settled into school beautifully!

We have enjoyed making new friends, exploring the environment and having lots of fun.

We are beginning to understand and follow the routines and rules of school.

We have enjoyed learning the story of the Little Red Hen.
