Term 5 has been very exciting for Bumble Bee Class!
This term we have been looking at the story of ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’.
We received a special clue from the Caterpillars. We hunted for them all over the school, collecting every piece of food that they had eaten on our way. We thought very carefully as we read each clue and solved the riddles. At the end of our hunt, we found lots of very tiny caterpillars. We have watched them eat lots of food, build their chrysalis and finally transform into beautiful butterflies. We have practised our sounds while writing sentences about them.
In Numeracy, we have been practising our problem solving skills. We have added numbers within 10 and counted on to find the total.
Finally, we all really enjoyed our trip to Folly Farm. We learnt lots about butterflies and other mini-beasts.
